The Indonesian Songs I am Keening on..!

1)  Dewi Sandra – Satu Untuk Selamanya (One for Forever)

This song has a deep meaning. It is about a woman committing to her relationship with a man. She promises to be faithful and loving for the rest of the time. Eventually, I think Dewi Sandra released this song at the right time. I heard once and soon decided that I liked it. For someone (you know who), this song is now the best manifest of my feeling.

2) ST12 – SKJ (I don’t know what the letters stand for)

SKJ is funny but also with some amorous parts. “Love is a gift which is impossible for me to let go that easily. Even if there were a thousand obstacles, I would not be fearful to bear all with you. All the doubts are just because I am afraid of losing you. So just don’t leave me”.  I have longed like SKJ, since the first time I knew about the PUSPA album of ST12. This album is my favorite of all, and ST12 is one of the few singers I could love! Charlie has natural and unique voice character, and their music is really original.

3) Letto – Kepada Hati Itu (Toward that Heart)

The vocalist of Letto has flawlessly soft voice, but I didn’t like too many of their previous songs. This one is great, for the emotion and acceptance you can sense. What does it talk about? I guess it is about a man who loves sincerely and will to wait.

4) Seventeen – Untuk Mencintaimu (To Love You)

This song stays the longest in my list, which even inspires me more at this point. I have tried to get back your trust and love. The love is there, I am so sure. But it should stay better with trust. I hope to be the best for you, as you always assure me all the time. We will be together at the end, whatever it takes to be. I have no other reserve plan anymore, lol..!

This is just part of the bigger list. But they are nearly all I want to hear. There are also some International songs I am enjoying since months ago: Their Way (if I am not mistaken, because the mp3 is so hard to get and I don’t even have one) from Fastball, As Long As You Love Me from Backstreet Boys, I Loved Her First from Heartland, and Lost from Michael Buble. But I can not help loving Indonesian songs and singers more.

I love my nationality. I am Chinese and I am from the minority group of religions in Indonesia, but I love my country. Of course some choices of citizenships should be better, but I was born here. The government has not been able to fight the massive corruption and social issues yet, but this is my country. I have big hopes for the government and people here.
