The City in Recent Days
If we are to complain, there are many points to talk about. Two or three days ago the electricity turned off for 6 hours, and they were during the working hours. Imagine how much people missed from the lost productivity. If you are an ordinary employee, you might feel happy because of not having to work. And then, the weather gets really hot at day and night. When it is not that hot, it rains so heavily that we don’t feel good at all to get out. And one more, yesterday I waited for over half an hour just to buy ‘Gudeg” for breakfast. It might not be that annoying if two people didn’t break the line queue. What an uncivilized action they did!
At these times, only what you have personally can make you still feel good. They are external factors that can or can not affect life badly, depending on how you regard the condition. Well, yesterday Mbak Vera and I walked toward her place and Bram’s after buying “Gudeg”. She stopped at hers and I went on a few meters. She stayed in my room the night before. We slept at 4 am and woke up at 6.45! Sleepy of course, and it was so hot. Bram was still really sleepy too when I got there. After having breakfast, he took bath and we went out. I started to work and he did too. The city is still so hot today. I wish I could go to Kaliurang or any nature destination to feel the cool atmosphere. But he is busy. I am busy with new online business (es) too. Luckily that is not a reason to lose the togetherness. Not bad at all.
