Gen X and Gen Y Workers

Despite the title, I am actually interested in talking about the Gen Y workers only. Why? Because they are a bit hard to find. Even only few people from the generation, now at their productive years, work satisfyingly and excellently.  And if what  the management and human resource development studies  apply, then the Gen Yers are really great people to work with and pay for. Among the decent points of Gen Yers should be:

1. Be aware about you own value and acknowledge. In most part,s Gen Yers should work for their credibility as well as both implicit and explicit rewards.  You know what to reach, you set independent objectives, you try to be different.

2. Never stop learning and take away the doubt. Don’t refuse to do things you do not know. It takes a little time to learn new things and that  contributes to your whole life skill, so why not? Don’t get into doubt, you should set your level and be courage to take action. Don’t ask too many questions and tutorials. besides it claims your inability to start and explore, it is really annoying.

3. Be proactive. Why wait until a task is assigned before you start working on  or learning about it? Why wait until deadline is approaching to finish a workload? Why wait until the market gets bored before suggesting an innovation? Do more than others. Speak out ideas, either for your boss or own business. You ought to be different to be visible in the intensive market.

4. Give standard to yourself. If your boss set one for you, make it higher. Why be just the average when you can obtain more? What a pity to feel satisfied when you have nothing better than the others. Build self esteem and place your qualifications high. We determine it.

5. Enjoy life. Work hard and play hard is a good way to describe it. Be excellent in as many life aspects as possible. Workload won’t kill you or your fun life.
