Gardu Pandang, Kaliurang, Yogyakarta

It’s a bit late, but here are some pics when my brother, William, was here. They were taken on Apr 16 when we went to Kaliurang – Yogyakarta. We were supposed to visit Gua Jepang, but the site closed earlier due to unfriendly weather. This is why I hate rain, it cancels great plans! So we got to Kaliurang’s Gardu Pandang to watch the view. Mount Merapi wasn’t visible, for sure. But it’s fine. Once arrived, we bought 6 kg of Salah Pondoh for 30,000 IDR from a local people there. I guess at least 2 kg were gone at Gardu Pandang because we ate so many, lol!

See below. There are Bram, William, and I on the first pic. It’s partly blurred. The second one looks better. There are Teki, William, and Bram. There is not much to see but us, lol..!

Well, my brother was here for a basketball tournament. He stayed 8 days if I am not mistaken. The first 4 days were not free because he’s with his team and coach. They then headed back to Tangerang and William stayed here with me. He, Teki, Bram, and I went to some places such as Raminten, Wonosari Gardu Pandang, Phuket Restaurant, Predator, and Kopi Joss. There’re some more, but I forget the names. He had also visited Malioboro, Mirota Batik, “Alun-alun Kidul”, Borobudur, and again, some more, I don’t remember. It must be a great week for him, since he told me he loved Yogya. Well, he also stayed at Bram’s place for 2 nights and got along with his friends. My brother loves socializing, unlike me.
