After graduation: offline or online job?
Here I am now. Already done with university stuffs, just waiting for graduation day. It apparently doesn’t feel like an end of studying, instead I have to rush in learning many new things. I’m nowat the center of a room, watching my surrounding, don’t know which corner to stay. I may even need to go and check another room.
Well, I’m considering between working offline or online. need to find out son. You know, monthly salary for fresh graduates in Indonesia is not big. If you are from developed countries, I’m sure you must say “very low”. It would be great if I can do both, as long as I get offline job that has Internet connection. But seems like there are only a few positions in my field that would require Internet connection to work. So?
Another option is to earn online. many say it earns much better and in shorter working hours. I love the flexible time and prefer this one, frankly. However, I can’t figure out how much I can earn averagely since I’m new at online jobs. This month’s earning is great, quite bigger than the average salary of working offline. But I don’t know how the upcoming months will perform. And so…? I’d prefer to try this challenge, anyway. Still thinking.. Do you have any consideration for me?

Nice site. There
I prefer both off and on
I know how you feel; I too were at a crossroad after graduation. Unlike you, however, I only found out I could earn online two years later I graduate. I was forced to work a 9-5 job, which is not very fulfilling money wise and psychological wise. But luckily I found gold in the Internet mine, and here I am. All I can say is, I love working online. I will never go back to working 9-5. I’m from the Philippines so we have somewhat similar circumstances when it comes to seeking employment.
@ Leo, u sih enak dah dapet dua dua yang pas, haha
@ Renier: Hi, great to hear that. I think I’ll choose the online jobs too. You are just right, the money and the psychology.
Online job is a good choice indeed. However, you need a plan for the next 10 year, meaning that you should start doing things now that will bring some benefit years later.
I choose to do both of them. Oneline job gives me more money than the offline job, but offline job teaches me lot of thing about life, yesss it’s not always pleasant, but this is life, willing or not I have to deal with it.
Yes, you are so right. I have also been thinking about that. Even the next year should be better. Thanks Dorin, Good luck with http://favpanel.com..!
online job are best way than offline job.I am planning online job for 5 years.
Definitely Online
As time passes you can earn a lot more money in online and you are offered a constant growth in time. This rarely happens offline, unless you keep changing jobs, from one to the other, from good to better. Quite rare you see
I know many bloggers who killed their offline jobs to enter online jobs !
But it depends on their attitude and determination whether they can do well or not.. cheers !
doing an online job is better than offline
